Krishak Overview

Krishak is a mobile application by SBI general which aims to empower farmers to get access to the policy and claim data of crop insurance done under government of India flagship crop insurance scheme called Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). Farmers across India can use services provided by this app to aid their farming efforts. The detailed featured of the app are as below:

Know your policy/Claim Status

A farmer will be able to search for his policy through application number or bank account number and view his PMFBY policy details and claim status. Based on above search, option to download policy document is also available.

Loss Intimation

This feature will allow the farmer to raise crop loss intimation. Once raised, he will be able to view the status of his intimation.

Information

The app will provide weather information based on farmer’s current location. Along with this, it will also keep the farmer posted about the recent crop insurance activities conducted by SBI General through Social media information.

We do not share the Information Provider’s personal information and or sensitive personal data/information with any third party.

How to delete your data

You can delete your account and associated data directly within our platform. Navigate to My Profile > Delete Account. Once confirmed, your personal data will be permanently removed from our active databases, subject to any legal retention requirements.
